Opening a company
An Estonian private limited company, an OÜ, is the usual form. We prepare the registration data and the first books. You sign what is yours to sign.
Capital
Since 1 February 2023 a new OÜ can be founded with a share nominal value from one cent. The old minimum of 2,500 euro does not apply to a new company. Paying capital in, and the amount, is a decision you write into the articles. Our own company still shows 2,500 euro because it was registered in 2011.
What we do, and what we leave
We help with the data the register asks for, the contact person if the board lives abroad, the VAT question, and the bookkeeping from the first invoice.
- The founder signs the application.
- Where the law wants a notary, the notary does that part.

- The state fee is set by the register. We do not quote it here, because it changes.
